Short description

The course will provide knowledge about strategic, tactical and operational information system needed for project organization and management. Also, it will present the importance of information systems for project management, by simplifying processes of control and monitoring.

Objectives

The participants will be able to:

- understand the objectives and tasks of the strategic, tactical and operational information management,

- develop an understanding of information systems, their architecture and interrelation with associated IT strategies,

- learn the basics of IT controlling, knowledge and quality management,

- get an overview of the main methods and models related to information management,

- improve their skills related to dealing with IT staff and IT-specific problems,

- identify the broad areas of application of e-business and assess it and

- understand the changes in information technology and new media.
